For the past 47 years, the U.S. imperialist aggression forces have committed the whole gamut of heinous crimes such as violence, robbery, murder and sexual assault almost every day in south Korea under the patronage of the agreement and lorded it over as de facto dominator with extraterritorial power.

Rodong Sinmun Tuesday says in a bylined article in this regard:

The agreement is the humiliating document unprecedented in history which proved that south Korea is the U.S. colony. It is also a "criminal permit" which patronages and fosters all kinds of criminal atrocities by the U.S. imperialist aggressors.

It is the miserable situation of south Korea that the national sovereignty and human dignity are ruthlessly trampled down due to the presence of the U.S. imperialist aggressors.

The abrogation of SOFA, a disgrace and shame to the nation, is the demand of the era and a unanimous call of the south Korean people.

The south Korean authorities speak loudly of the sixtieth anniversary of the alliance between south Korea and the U.S. that falls this year, far from scrapping the treacherous agreement in its continued pursuance of the sycophancy towards the U.S. and the humiliating policy of dependence on outside forces.

The history of servitude and disgrace should not be allowed to go on and the SOFA which hurts the dignity and sovereignty of the nation be abrogated at once.
