Minju Joson Tuesday observes in a signed commentary that this suggests a dramatic change in Japan's military tendency.

It goes on:

What the Japanese reactionaries seek at present is to completely turn the Self-Defense Forces (SDF) into offensive forces capable of waging a war for overseas aggression, totally unbound to the "Pacifist Constitution".

It is as clear as a pikestaff to where the next military action of Japan will lead as it is capable of attacking enemy bases, the commentary notes, and goes on:

It is the hegemonic scenario of the Japanese reactionaries that they should not care about any war in order to become a leader of Asia.

The countries around Japan are targets of the SDF which has been beefed up as war forces. This time they selected Okinawa as the place for deployment of the short-range ballistic missile. This fact made it clearer that Japan is planning to ignite a war to stage a comeback to Korea and other neighboring countries just as it did in the last century.

Japan has so far lived in peace as it has preserved the above-said Constitution for form's sake. But if Japan embarks upon the road of undisguised militarist overseas invasion after throwing away the present Constitution like a pair of old shoes, the situation will be quite different from now.

The turn of Japan into a military giant and launch of overseas invasion will certainly lead it to a final ruin.

The Japanese reactionaries had better give up at once their reckless action to drive the whole country into the abyss of ruin.
