At the rally speakers condemned the GIs for committing ceaseless crimes against south Koreans such as assaulting a taxi driver inside running cab.

They urged the police and prosecution authorities to make a swift and thorough-going investigation into the GIs' crimes and sternly punish the criminals.

Referring to the U.S. military base in Ryongsan getting seriously polluted, they demanded an investigation into all areas within the base to correctly grasp the status quo and take a step for restoring it to its former glory.

The U.S. is forcing south Korea to increase the share of the upkeep of the U.S. forces, in particular, an unreasonable act of forcing the other to pay a fabulous amount of money, the speakers said, calling for the abrogation of the special agreement on sharing the upkeep of the U.S. forces.
