Present there were Choe Un Bok, chairwoman of the General Association of Koreans in China, and its officials and Koreans in Jilin City.

A remembrance meeting of the association was held in Shenyang, China on July 8.

Attending it were Choe Su Bong, vice-chairman of the association, and its officials.

Choe Su Bong praised Kim Il Sung as eternal leader of the Korean people and the sun of humankind as he performed great exploits in the struggle for hewing out the destiny of the nation and accomplishing the human cause of independence with his great revolutionary idea and through his gigantic revolutionary practices.

His revolutionary idea and exploits had been successfully upheld and developed under the wise leadership of Kim Jong Il. The glorious revolutionary history of the great Generalissimos Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il is given steady continuity along with the history of the leadership provided by the ever-victorious Workers' Party of Korea headed by the dear respected Marshal Kim Jong Un, Choe added.

Then followed speeches.

A letter to Kim Jong Un was adopted at the meeting.

Jo Yong Hwan, chairman of the Zhongnan Regional Association of the General Association of Koreans in China, its vice-chairpersons and Koreans in China also held a remembrance meeting at the DPRK embassy in Beijing on July 7.
