Floral Tribute Paid to Kim Il Sung

| Pyongyang, July 13 (KCNA) -- The Organization of Solidarity of the Peoples of Africa, Asia and Latin America on July 8 held a ceremony of placing a floral basket before the portrait of smiling President Kim Il Sung at its building on the 19th anniversary of his demise. The secretary general and other members of the organization, Ambassador Jon Yong Jin and other staff members of the DPRK embassy in Havana attended the ceremony. They paid homage to the President after placing the floral basket before his portrait. The secretary general said: It is our noble duty to pay respects for Kim Il Sung, eternal leader of the Korean people, on July 8 every year. He is boundlessly revered not only by the Korean people but also by the Cuban people. The friendship and solidarity between the two countries provided by Fidel Castro Ruz and Kim Il Sung would grow stronger in the struggle for socialism against the U.S. |
