Day of Korean People's Victory in War to Be Marked in Sri Lanka

| Pyongyang, July 13 (KCNA) -- A Sri Lankan preparatory committee was formed in Colombo on July 7 to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Korean people's victory in the great Fatherland Liberation War. Prasana Ranatunga, prime minister of the western provincial government of Sri Lanka was elected advisor to the prepatatory committee and Upali Bandara, secretary general of the Committee of Self-Reliance Studies in Sri Lanka, its chairman. The committee decided to organize colorful political and cultural events to mark the anniversary. |
