The work, published on Oct. 23, Juche 42 (1953), clarifies the significance of historic victory in the Fatherland Liberation War and its factor, tasks for the people's army in the post-war period and so on.

The releasing ceremony of the work took place in Berlin on July 9.

The preface of the booklet reads "special publication on the 60th anniversary of the victory in the Korean war. July 27, 1953 is a meaningful day when the Korean people won a historic victory in the war with the U.S. that boasted of being the 'strongest' in the world".

The director of the publishing house said:

It is the greatest honor of our publishing house to publish the immortal work of the President.

This work will help the westerners to have the right understanding of the Korean war.

The Korean people turned the country into a power from scratch.

I hope the Workers' Party of Korea and the Korean people will achieve further success in their effort for the national prosperity and happiness of the people.
