Displayed in the venues of the events were photos of Kim Il Sung on his revolutionary career and exploits and works of Kim Il Sung and general secretary Kim Jong Il.

Participants of the film shows watched Korean films including "Eternal Treasure in Praise of the Sun".

Aye Myint, secretary of the Yangon Regional Committee of the Union Solidarity and Development Party of Myanmar said that the history of the Workers' Party of Korea and Korean people is recorded with pride and merits as they have frustrated all sorts of moves on the part of the hostile forces and hastened the dynamic march for building a rich and powerful country by dint of unity between the whole Party and all people under the wise leadership of the great leaders.

Balzor Singh Chauhan, chairman of the Indian Youth Group for the Study of Works of Comrade Kim Il Sung, noted that Kim Il Sung, founder of socialist Korea, has been revered as the eternal sun of Juche from progressive humankind.

He went on:

Kim Il Sung provided a great guiding idea for accomplishing the human cause of independence by founding the Juche idea.

He set forth independence as fundamental principle of relations among countries and regarded it as his iron rule to exercise full equality and sovereignty in the external activities.

Kim Il Sung who opened up the independent era and dedicated his life to the victorious advance of the human cause of independence will always live in the hearts of the peoples the world over.
