Sports Contest for Songun Torch Prize under Way

| Pyongyang, July 15 (KCNA) -- The Sports Contest for Songun Torch Prize is at its height in the DPRK. The contest is to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the victory in the war. An opening ceremony took place in Hamhung City, South Hamgyong Province on July 10. The players compete in about 10 events including football, basketball, volleyball, table-tennis, boxing and weightlifting in Pyongyang, Hamhung and other places. |
