Pyongyang, July 19 (KCNA) -- DPRK book, photo and handicraft exhibitions were held between July 1 and 5 in Mexico and Nigeria on the occasion of the 19th anniversary of demise of President Kim Il Sung. Displayed in the exhibitions were photos of Kim Il Sung, general secretary Kim Jong Il and Marshal Kim Jong Un. Also displayed there were works of the peerlessly great persons of Mt. Paektu, books and photos of the army and people of the DPRK building a thriving socialist nation and handiworks associated with wisdom and talents of Koreans. The chairman of the C.C., the Socialist Popular Party of Mexico praised Kim Il Sung as the great father of the Korean nation and founder of socialist Korea who liberated the country and built a socialist power centred on the popular masses in Korea and an invincible and iron-willed commander who defeated two imperialisms in one generation. The far-sighted idea and noble desire of Kim Il Sung are being translated into reality thanks to Kim Jong Un, he noted. The director of the Art and Cultural Council of the Ministry of Federal Capital Territory of Nigeria said that the solid political, military and economic foundation laid by Kim Il Sung all his life is serving as an engine guaranteeing the DPRK's one victory after another, adding that he is always alive in the hearts of the Korean people and progressive mankind. |
