Displayed in the center of the venue of the show were a hundred potted flowers praising the great men against the background of a large art work depicting the main sculpture "Victory" of the Monument to the Victorious Fatherland Liberation War.

Displayed there were photos introducing diplomas and gold medals awarded to Kimilsungia and Kimjongilia at international festivals.

Present at the opening ceremony of the show were public figures of all social strata and masses in Dalian City. Present there on invitation were officials of the DPRK consulate general in Shenyang and Koreans working in Dalian.

The chairman of the Dalian Floriculturists Association recalled that the armies and peoples of the two countries defeated the U.S. imperialists in the Korean war in firm unity, adding that he will make positive efforts to steadily develop the friendship between China and DPRK in the future too.

The secretary general of the association said that Kimilsungia and Kimjongilia are immortal flowers reflecting the ardent reverence of the progressives for President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il.

He noted that the friendly and cooperative relations between the two countries which were provided and developed by the leaders of the elder generation of the two countries would shed more brilliant rays along with history.

The general manager of a Chinese company expressed his will to learn from the experience gained in cultivating Kimilsungia and Kimjongilia and thus actively disseminate them not only in China but in various countries of the world.
