Preparatory Committee for Celebrating 60th Anniversary of Victory in Korean War Inaugurated in Russia

| Pyongyang, July 20 (KCNA) -- A preparatory committee for celebrating the 60th anniversary of the Korean people's victory in the great Fatherland Liberation War was inaugurated by the Khabarovsk Territorial Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation on Tuesday. Gromov, first secretary of the territorial committee, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee. The preparatory committee set the July 16-30 celebration period and decided to organize colorful political and cultural events for introducing President Kim Il Sung's exploits in war victory and leader Kim Jong Il's Songun leadership exploits. It decided to extend full support and solidarity to the Korean people in their struggle for building a thriving socialist nation and achieving national reunification. |
