The speakers said a peace treaty has not been concluded though 60 years have passed since the ceasefire, adding that this is mainly attributable to the U.S. persistent hostile policy towards the north.

The "northern limit line" claimed by the "government" has no validity in view of international law as it was drawn by the U.S. unilaterally, the organizations charged, and went on:

The conservative forces, however, are working hard to turn the West Sea of Korea into a powder magazine, insisting it is their "territorial line".

The Intelligence Service's case clearly indicates that the authorities abused the "northern limit line" for their political purpose.

The organizations appealed to the public to join people of various circles in their actions to hold in check the dangerous military provocations leading to an all-out war on the Korean Peninsula.
