The statement assailed the "Saenuri Party" for claiming that the state investigation into the IS's meddling in the election has not been made due to legislators from the Democratic Party of south Korea.

It is well known to everybody that the "Saenuri Party" is not willing to push ahead with the probe into the case of the IS, the statement noted.

The ruling party is employing such trite sleight of hand as disabling the opposition party through combination of threat and far-fetched assertion and fabricating a new case to divert elsewhere the people's criticism of the ruling party, it charged.

The statement called on all progressive forces to wage an unflinching struggle against the moves of the ruling party to quell the candlelight actions against the IS.
