Under the headline "Exploits performed by President Kim Il Sung for victory in war" the Russian newspaper Komsomolskaya Pravda on July 9 allotted one whole page to a photo of President Kim Il Sung and articles subtitled "General's distinguished ability", "The unity of army and people", "Preeminent strategy and tactics", "Creation of diverse war methods " and "Consolidation of the political and military position of the country."

Noting that the victory of the Korean people in the Fatherland Liberation War was a brilliant fruition of the original military idea and war methods of Kim Il Sung, the paper gave a detailed account of the fact.

The Malaysian Guang Ming Daily on July 12 carried an article under the title of the "Celebration of the 60th anniversary of victory in the Fatherland Liberation War" and an article subtitled the "Might of the single minded unity brought about the victory in the war" illustrated with a portrait of smiling Kim Il Sung.

The paper said that inspired by the paternal love shown by Kim Il Sung for the service personnel during the days of the hard-fought war, they fought against the enemy, unhesitatingly dedicating their youth and lives.

The might of the single-minded unity between the supreme commander and soldiers and between the leader and the people brought about the victory in the war.

Such noble spirit of revolutionary obligation is being successfully carried forward by Marshal Kim Jong Un, faithful successor to the cause of the great leader Kim Jong Il.

Under the headline "Myth smashed, new myth" the Bangladeshi newspaper Natun Bangla on July 13 carried an article telling how the myth of the U.S. "mightiness" was shattered to smithereens in the last Fatherland Liberation War.

The Teleandina TV broadcasting service 23 of Ecuador on July 9 and 10 specially aired the Korean films "Reply of the DPRK" and "Fireworks of a thriving nation."
