July 27 this year is a significant day marking the 60th anniversary of the brilliant victory of the service personnel and people of the DPRK in the Fatherland Liberation War under the wise leadership of Generalissimo Kim Il Sung.

On this auspicious holiday, the Peruvian National Independent Movement for Free Voting's Union and the Peruvian Committee for Supporting the Independent and Peaceful Reunification of Korea pay the highest tribute to the Generalissimo who led the war to victory and brought about the beginning of a downhill turn for U.S. imperialism.

Kim Il Sung was an outstanding strategist and an invincible and iron-willed commander who shattered the myth of the "mightiness" of the U.S. imperialists.

The exploits he performed by leading the war to victory will shine forever along with the century.

The tradition of victory won by him in the hard-fought war against the invasion of U.S. imperialism was steadfastly carried forward by the Songun politics of Generalissimo Kim Jong Il and is now given steady continuity under the leadership of the dear respected Marshal Kim Jong Un.

The progressive parties, organizations and people in Peru are convinced that the service personnel and people of the DPRK who have Kim Jong Un, brilliant commander of Songun, as Supreme Commander of the revolutionary armed forces will mercilessly foil the provocations of the U.S. imperialists and certainly achieve a final victory.
