Order Commemorating 60th Anniversary of War Victory Awarded to New Songs

Pyongyang, July 22 (KCNA) -- The Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK published a decree on awarding the order commemorating the 60th anniversary of the victory in the Fatherland Liberation War to songs "July 27 March," "Holiday of great war victory", "Tell, fireworks of war victory" and "Respects to victors of great age" which were created to mark the anniversary.

The songs are an echo of the era of the Workers' Party of Korea reflecting the fixed will of the army and people to glorify for ages the undying history and traditions of war victory provided by the great Generalissimos. They also serve as an inspiring banner leading the army and people to the final victory, the decree said.

The SPA Presidium said the order is awarded to the songs to be remembered long in the distant future along with the shining history of the Songun revolutionary leadership of the WPK, songs of victors that reflect the stirring realities in the glorious Kim Jong Un era.
