The message said he was pleased to pay warmest congratulations to His Excellency Kim Jong Un and the friendly Korean people on behalf of the Syrian people and on his own behalf on the occasion of July 27, 2013, the 60th anniversary of the victory in the Fatherland Liberation War.

He wished Kim Jong Un happiness in good health and the friendly Korean people prosperity.

Availing himself of the opportunity, he expressed his belief that the friendly and cooperative relations between the Syrian Arab Republic and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea would steadily grow in the interests of the peoples of the two countries.
