Taekwon-Do and Go game were divided into three groups -- adult, youth and juvenile. Players selected from provincial Taekwon-Do teams, sports universities, sports schools and schoolchildren's palaces and halls in Pyongyang and local areas, will compete at the games.

An opening ceremony took place in Wonsan, Kangwon Province on Tuesday.

Present at the opening ceremony were Pak Jong Nam, chief secretary of the Kangwon Provincial Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, and officials concerned.

Pae Nung Man, vice-chairman of the Korean Taekwon-Do Committee, made an opening speech.

Then followed demonstrations by players of each provincial Taekwon-Do team.
