Present there were Ri Yong Su, department director of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, Ro Song Sil, chairwoman of the C.C., the DWUK, officials concerned and women's union officials and members in Pyongyang.

Oratories included "Long live the victory in the great Fatherland Liberation War", "Eternal July 27 of victory" and "Spring thunder".

The performers said that the women across the country are full of boundless reverence for the peerlessly great persons of Mt. Paektu, who wisely guided the confrontation with the U.S.

They stressed that the historic appeal made by Marshal Kim Jong Un for opening a new heyday on all fronts of socialist construction by creating the "speed on Masik Pass" serves as the thunder of Songun Korea.

The oratories gave deep impressions to the participants as they called for powerfully demonstrating the wisdom and stamina of the Korean women in the effort for building a thriving socialist nation.

A performance was given by the art squad of the union.

Put on the stage were colorful numbers including poem and chorus "Long Live Generalissimo Kim Il Sung", "July 27, Our Victory Day", instrumental music and songs "Song of National Defence" and "Advance", poem and solo "Red Chol Pass" and trio "When Singing of Songun".
