Pyongyang, July 24 (KCNA) -- South Korean media denounced the puppet group of traitors for giving up the military sovereignty. The south Korean internet paper Voice of People on July 22 in an editorial quoted the chief executive as saying at the talks with her master U.S. that the "transfer of wartime operation control should be readied in the direction of strengthening the combined defense capacity". This, in fact, signals the giving up of the military sovereignty, the editorial said, adding that it hints at the exchange of views for delaying the transfer of the right to command wartime operation at the talks. It said matter is the viewpoint of the military authorities and rulers of worshipping and kowtowing to America as they are obsessed to the marrow of their bones with the way of thinking of totally depending on the U.S. It demanded the authorities stop the moves for delaying the transfer of the right to command wartime operation that has neither justification nor value. Hangyore on July 21 in an editorial said that the voices of derision are being heard even from the inner parts of the U.S., specifying that the authorities sought a political aim to rally the conservative forces with their deep-rooted dependence on the U.S. The editorial went on: The U.S. acceptance of the demand for the delay will be followed by a huge price. Although the issue of the transfer is sparking off a big furor, the chief executive is shunning it. If she can not give concrete explanation about the reason for the delay to the people, she has to stop it at once, urged the editorial. |
