Foreign Military Delegations Visit Mangyongdae

Pyongyang, July 25 (KCNA) -- The Ugandan high-level military delegation headed by Odongo Jeje, minister of state for the Ministry of Defense, and the Mozambican military delegation headed by Agostinho Salvador Mondlane, vice-minister of Defense, visited Mangyongdae, the birthplace of President Kim Il Sung, on Thursday. The guests went round historic relics in the birthplace of the President, being briefed on the revolutionary history of the President and his family in Mangyongdae. At the end of the visit the head of the Ugandan high-level military delegation said the President brought freedom and liberation to the Korean people and led the Fatherland Liberation War to a victory. The head of the Mozambican military delegation noted that the President, who was born at the low-roofed thatched house in Mangyongdae, devoted his all to the struggle for the people's freedom and liberation. The President was a peerlessly great man whom the Korean and Mozambican peoples and the world people deeply revere, he added. Meanwhile, the delegations visited the Mangyongdae Revolutionary School. The Mongolian government military delegation headed by Avirmed Battor, vice-minister of Defence, and the Vietnamese military delegation headed by Luong Cong, deputy head of the General Political Department of the Vietnam People's Army, visited the Museum of Weapons and Equipment of the Korean People's Army on the same day. |
