The participants laid bouquets before the statue of President Kim Il Sung in Haeju City and paid tribute to him.

It was attended by crewmen of a Cambodian-flagged ship.

Speakers at the meeting said that the Korean people humbled the arrogance of the U.S. imperialists and won a brilliant victory in the Fatherland Liberation War.

They expressed belief that the army and people of the DPRK marking July 27, the day of victory, would glorify forever the exploits performed by Generalissimo Kim Il Sung for winning a victory in the war and firmly defend the socialist country, united close around Marshal Kim Jong Un.

A congratulatory letter to Kim Jong Un was adopted at the meeting.

At the end of the meeting its participants watched a Korean film.
