President Kim Il Sung, great leader of the Korean people, was an invincible and iron-willed commander who won a brilliant victory in the severe war against U.S. imperialism.

When the U.S. imperialists ignited a war against the DPRK on June 25, 1950 with the ambition to dominate the world, the President declared an all-out war against the U.S., saying that the U.S. imperialists have taken the Korean people wrong.

The President aroused the Korean army and people to the heroic struggle.

He led the war to victory with his unique strategy and military methods while providing field guidance to several units of the front and the back through a hail of bullets.

The myth of the U.S. "mightiness" was completely shattered by the President's matchless grit and pluck and outstanding military strategy and tactics in the Korean war.

At last the U.S. imperialists were compelled to admit their defeat and sign the Armistice Agreement on July 27, 1953.

Today the DPRK's military power for self defence which was provided by the President and leader Kim Jong Il has been bolstered under the seasoned leadership of the dear respected Kim Jong Un.
