Anniversary of Korean People's Victory in War Observed by Foreigners
Pyongyang, July 26 (KCNA) -- Personages of Nigeria and Denmark released statements on July 19 and 21 to mark the 60th anniversary of the Korean people's victory in the great Fatherland Liberation War.

M. M. Alhassan, chairman of the Nigerian National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea, said:

We are remembering with deep emotion Generalissimo Kim Il Sung, who defeated two imperialisms in one generation, on the occasion of this year's victory day, July 27.

Although it was young the DPRK achieved a miraculous victory in the fierce showdown with the imperialist allied forces led by the U.S., which boasted of the strongest military and economic power and longest history of aggression in the world. It was a precious fruition of the outstanding tactics and strategy and original war methods of Kim Il Sung.

Highly praising the Korean people for bringing about the beginning of a downhill turn for U.S. imperialism, Anders Kristensen, chairman of the Denmark-DPRK Friendship Association, said:

The U.S. still keeps holding the signboard of "UN Command" in south Korea, prodding the south Korean army into seeking a chance to provoke a war and invade the DPRK.

We call for replacing the Armistice Agreement by a peace treaty and dismantling the "UN Command" in the Korean Peninsula.
