Present at the talks from the WPK side were Kim Yong Il, alternate member of the Political Bureau and secretary of the C.C., WPK, and officials of the C.C., WPK and from the CPV side the members of the delegation of the CPV headed by Tran Quoc Vuong, secretary of the Central Committee and head of the Office of the C.C., and Le Quang Ba, Vietnamese ambassador to the DPRK.

At the talks both sides informed each other of activities of their parties and exchanged views on boosting the friendly relations between the two parties and other issues of mutual concern.

The talks proceeded in a friendly atmosphere.
