Aung Thein Lynn, member of the Central Executive Committee of the Union Solidarity and Development Party of Myanmar, said that President Kim Il Sung defeated the U.S. and Japanese imperialsits in one generation and built a powerful socialist Korea. He went on:

The President was a prominent leader and iron-willed brilliant commander who achieved undying feats for the happiness and prosperity of the Korean people and the cause of the world progressive people for independence.

The heroic Korean people converted the DPRK into an invincible socialist power of independence, self-support and self-reliance under the wise leadership of the President and leader Kim Jong Il.

Today the dear respected Kim Jong Un, who has successfully carried forward the cause of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il, is wisely leading the party, army and people of the DPRK.

We express full support and solidarity to the Workers' Party of Korea and the Korean people in their efforts to build a thriving nation and realize the cause of national reunification.

Shahida WiJarat, chairman of the Society for the Study of Self-Reliance of Pakistan, emphasized that the great victory of the Korean people is a fruition of Kim Il Sung's seasoned art of command, iron will, matchless grit and devotion to the people.
