Letter to Kim Jong Un from Chongryon Central Standing Committee
Pyongyang, July 27 (KCNA) -- Marshal Kim Jong Un received a letter from the Central Standing Committee of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan (Chongryon) on Saturday, the 60th anniversary of the victory in the great Fatherland Liberation War.

Generalissimo Kim Il Sung defeated the U.S. imperialists and other invaders of its 15 satellite countries, more than 2 million-strong allied forces including the south Korean puppet army, by political and ideological, and strategic and tactical superiority and thus firmly defended the dignity and honor of the country and the nation and set a worldwide example in the struggle against imperialism and the U.S., the letter said.

Generalissimo Kim Jong Il established the Songun politics as the basic political mode under socialism, turned the DPRK into an invincible socialist power no enemy dare provoke and thus provided a treasured sword for the anti-U.S. struggle and a sure guarantee for eternal prosperity, it noted.

The undying feats Kim Il Sung performed by winning a victory in the war and the history of the Songun revolutionary leadership of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il are being successfully carried forward by Kim Jong Un with a steady continuity in the country, it said.

It expressed the will to always hold Kim Jong Un in high esteem and consolidate Chongryon into his overseas Koreans' organization in which the ideological and leadership systems of Juche have been firmly established by fully inheriting the ardent reverence and absolute loyalty to the Generalissimos among Chongryon officials and Koreans in Japan as required by the prevailing situation and the changed situation.

It also expressed the determination to warmly love and positively aid the prospering socialist homeland and more dynamically conduct the movement for national reunification and external activities by fully displaying Kim Jong Il's patriotism.
