Pyongyang, July 27 (KCNA) -- The south Korean Internet paper Voice of People carried an article on July 23 denouncing the "Saenuri Party" for obstructing the investigation into the Intelligence Service (IS). The article recalled that the Emergency Situation Council to Denounce IS's Interference in "Presidential Election" for Political Operation which consists of at least 200 civic and social organizations proposed a 100 000-people candlelight rally in August. It went on: The state investigation into the IS's meddling in the election is expected to be over by August 15, but this remains in stalemate due to the obstructions of the party. The conservative ruling forces are working hard to bury the investigation into oblivion while dragging it on. The party agreed to make a state investigation into the case under the pressure of public opinion critical of the IS and the mounting actions of people from all walks of life demanding the punishment of those involved in the case. The people will never step back till a thoroughgoing probe is made into truth and those involved in the case are punished. The political camp, too, should keenly feel the people's anger at the violation of democracy. |
