Floral Tribute Paid to Statues of Kim Il Sung, Kim Jong Il
Pyongyang, July 27 (KCNA) -- Servicepersons of the Korean People's Army (KPA), people from all walks of life, school youth and children visited the statues of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the victory in the great Fatherland Liberation War.

Seen standing before the statues on Mansu Hill was a floral basket sent by Kim Jong Un, first secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea, first chairman of the DPRK National Defence Commission and supreme commander of the KPA.

Laid before the statues were floral baskets in the name of the Party, armed forces and power organs, public organizations, ministries, national institutions, units of the KPA and the Korean People's Internal Security Forces, institutions, enterprises and factories at all levels, farms, schools and others in Pyongyang. Bouquets and flowers were also placed there.

A floral basket was also laid in the name of the Pyongyang mission of the Anti-Imperialist National Democratic Front.

Visitors paid tribute to the peerlessly great men.

Floral baskets were laid before the statues of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il at Kim Il Sung Military University, the Ministry of the People's Armed Forces, the Ministry of People's Security, Mangyongdae Revolutionary School and the Mansudae Art Studio and mosaics portraying the smiling President and leader in other places here in the name of the units of the People's Army, institutions, enterprises and others. Bouquets and flowers were also placed there.

Servicepersons and people across the country visited statues of the President and mosaics portraying the smiling President and leader in their residential areas to pay tribute to him on the same occasion.
