Koreans in Russia Celebrate War Victory Day
Pyongyang, July 27 (KCNA) -- There took place an event of Koreans in the Maritime Territory of the Russian Federation in Nakhodka on Thursday on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the victory in the great Fatherland Liberation War.

On display in the venue of the event were photos documenting the undying feats President Kim Il Sung performed by winning a victory in the war and photos on the signal feats the peerlessly great men performed by bolstering up the defense capabilities and improving the standard of people's living.

Also displayed there were works of the President and his reminiscences "With the Century" and other books on his greatness.

The participants laid a floral basket and bouquets before a full-length picture of Kim Il Sung standing together with leader Kim Jong Il on Mt. Paektu and paid tribute to them.

Speeches were made at the event.

Speakers said that the Korean people could win a victory in the war thanks to the ever-victorious strategy and outstanding leadership of Kim Il Sung.

The great victory in the war was a historic event which defended the dignity of the nation and paved an avenue for carving out a new life, they noted.

As the revolutionary idea and undying feats of Kim Il Sung were creditably carried forward by Kim Jong Il, socialist Korea is winning victory after victory in confrontation with the U.S. imperialists and registering brilliant achievements in building an economic power under the leadership of the dear respected Kim Jong Un, they said.

The lifelong idea and desires of the great Generalissimos Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il will surely come true and the DPRK will demonstrate its might as a reunified powerful nation thanks to Kim Jong Un, they stressed.

They said that all the Koreans in the Maritime Territory would deeply cherish the feats of the Generalissimos and devote themselves to the patriotic work for national reunification.

The participants watched Korean film "Provoker of Korean War".
