Myth of U.S. "Mightiness" Shattered to Smithereens
Pyongyang, July 27 (KCNA) -- Today marks the 60th anniversary of the Korean people's victory in the Fatherland Liberation War (June 1950-July 1953) fought against the U.S. invaders.

For the U.S., it was the first time in history to suffer a defeat in wars.

Clark, the then commander of the U.S. forces in the Far East and commander of the "UN Forces", who signed the Korean Armistice Agreement on July 27, 1953, said that the war was a failure for the U.S.

For about 130 years after its appearance, the U.S. staged over 110 aggression wars, with 8 900 military interventions.

But the myth of U.S. "mightiness" was shattered to smithereens in the war against the two-year-old DPRK.

In the war, the U.S. mobilized two million troops and introduced huge latest combat equipment, including 73 million tons of munitions.

The U.S. brasshats vouched that they would round off the Korean War in 72 hours.

However, the vouching was replaced by the signing of the Armistice Agreement, which was made three years after the outbreak of the war.

U.S. high-ranking officials confessed that the U.S. was not as strong as others thought.

The myth of mightiness was created by the DPRK, not by the U.S.
