Present at the awarding ceremony were Yang Hyong Sop, vice-president of the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly, Pyon In Son, vice-minister of the People's Armed Forces, officers of the Korean People's Army, officers of the Korean People's Army, officials concerned, war veterans of the Chinese People's Volunteers participating in the celebrations of the 60th war victory anniversary and staff members of the Chinese embassy here including diplomatic minister Tian Baozhen.

A decree of the Presidium of the DPRK Supreme People's Assembly was read out. The order was awarded to 33 war veterans of the Chinese People's Volunteers including Yu Zhenwu, former commander of the Air Force of the Chinese People's Liberation Army, who displayed noble internationalism in the war and made contributions to the development of the friendly relations between the DPRK and China.

And 10 members of the delegation of Russian Korean War veterans led by Ya. V. Kanov, vice-chairman of the Korean War Veterans' Council of Russia, also received the order. They displayed noble internationalism during the war and made contributions to development of the DPRK-Russia friendly relations.
