Kim Il Sung's Feats in War Victory Praised by Foreign Party, Organizations

Pyongyang, July 28 (KCNA) -- Political party and organizations of various countries posted special write-ups on their websites from July 18 to 21 to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the victory in the great Fatherland Liberation War. The Romanian Socialist Union posted the following article titled "A rare strategist". The DPRK less than 2 years old won a victory in the war against the imperialist allied forces led by the U.S. which had the strongest military muscle, economic power and long history of aggression in the world. The victory was the precious fruition of the outstanding strategy, tactics and unique war methods of President Kim Il Sung. The exploits of Kim Il Sung, a great strategist, in the war victory and the spirit of defending the country and heroic self-sacrificing spirit displayed by the Korean people united close around him will shine forever along with the July 27 victory. The Romanian Workers' Association posted an article praising the undying feats of the iron-willed commander. The Society for the Promotion of the Relations between Austria and the DPRK posted an article titled "60 years ago, an event that startled the world" illustrated with a photo documenting the revolutionary activities of the President. The article noted that the Korean People's Army, which was viewed to be no match for the U.S. in numerical number and technique, achieved the brilliant successes including liberation of Seoul in only 3 days after the war started. It stressed that the U.S. was compelled to sign the Armistice Agreement which is as good as an official surrender document in the world eyes on July 27, 1953, saying that the U.S. loss in the three-year war was unbelievable. The Nigerian National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea posted an article titled "Generalissimo Kim Il Sung" and other articles. The articles praised the greatness and immortal exploits of the talented strategist and iron-willed brilliant commander who shattered the myth of the "mightiness" of the U.S. imperialists. They also praised the grit, pluck and far-seeing wisdom of the peerlessly great man who shaped a bright blueprint for the postwar rehabilitation and construction, looking far into the victorious future in the flames of the severe war. |
