DPRK's Day of Victory in War Observed by Foreign Papers
Pyongyang, July 29 (KCNA) -- Newspapers of different countries observed the 60th anniversary of the victory in the Fatherland Liberation War.

The Indonesian paper Suara Karya on July 18 carried an article entitled "Generalissimo Kim Il Sung" which said that the international community remembers with deep emotion Kim Il Sung, who defeated the U.S. and Japanese imperialists in one generation, on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the victory in the Fatherland Liberation War. It introduced in detail the exploits he performed by liberating Korea and achieving a victory in the war.

The Nigerian paper Nigerian Observer on July 17 carried an article entitled "Day of victory of Korean people" which said:

On July 27, 1953, the U.S. signed the Armistice Agreement as good as a document of surrender, the first of its kind in history.

Six decades have passed since then.

During this period the U.S. has persistently pursued the policy for dominating the whole of Korea, far from drawing a due lesson from its defeat in the Korean War, and turned the Korean Peninsula into the biggest hotspot in the world.

It is the steadfast will of the DPRK to wipe out all aggressors so that no one would survive to sign such document of surrender if the U.S. ignites a new war.

The DPRK does not make an empty talk.

The Pakistani paper Baluchistan Times on July 14 and 21 carried articles "Truce not observed: war or peace" and "Event which startled world 60 years ago" praising the great victory of the Korean people in the war.
