Present there were officials of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, officials concerned and war veteran delegates marking their birthdays.

Speakers at the parties said that Marshal Kim Jong Un invited the war veterans to attend the celebrations of the 60th anniversary of the victory in the war as delegates, bestowed upon them honor and happiness unimaginable even in a dream and made sure that birthday parties were arranged for them.

This reflects the deep loving care and trust shown by Kim Jong Un for them with hope that the war veterans, precious treasures of the country and forerunners of the revolution, whom the Workers' Party of Korea values and respects so much, would keep the flowers of the revolution in bloom in good health in the future, too, they stressed.

They noted that the war veterans should bear in mind the intention of Kim Jong Un and hand down the spirit of devotedly defending the leader and the spirit of defending the country to the generations to come as legacies.

They called on the veterans to perform their mission and duty as the generation who won the victory in the war in remaining true to the WPK's Songun revolutionary leadership.

The war veteran delegates received significant birthday spreads, expressing boundless thanks and reverence for Kim Jong Un.
