Korean Fine Art, Stamp Exhibitions Open in China
Pyongyang, July 29 (KCNA) -- A Korean Fine Art Exhibition was opened in Beijing under the co-sponsorship of the Mansudae Art Studio of the DPRK and the Beijing Ji Shengchang Culture Co. Ltd. on Saturday, the 60th anniversary of the victory in the Fatherland Liberation War.

On display in the venue of the exhibition are art pieces portraying President Kim Il Sung who performed exploits by winning a victory in the war including oil painting "On the Road of Advance".

There are also art pieces dealing with popular heroism and matchless self-sacrificing spirit of the servicepersons and people of the DPRK during the war and the efforts of the Korean people for building a thriving socialist nation, art pieces produced by Chinese painters during their visit to the DPRK, art pieces on the themes of resisting America and aiding Korea and DPRK-China friendship, etc.

The exhibition will remain open till August 30.

A Korean Stamp Exhibition opened on the same day in celebration of the war victory day. It will last till August 4.

Meanwhile, a Korean book, photo and fine art exhibition opened in Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province of China, Saturday on the same occasion.

On display there are photos dealing with the exploits Kim Il Sung performed by winning a victory in the war and the Songun leadership exploits of leader Kim Jong Il and the dear respected Kim Jong Un.

Also displayed there are famous works of the peerlessly great men of Mt. Paektu, books and photos introducing Songun Korea and art pieces associated with creative wisdom and talents of the Korean people.

The exhibition will last till August 7.
