Present at the talks from the WPK side were Kim Yong Il, alternate member of the Political Bureau and secretary of the C.C., WPK, and officials of the C.C., WPK and from the CPC side a member of the delegation of the CPC headed by Jose Ramon Balaguer, head of the International Department of the Central Committee of the CPC, and German Hermin Ferras Alvarez, Cuban ambassador to the DPRK.

At the talks both sides informed each other of activities of their parties and exchanged views on boosting the friendly and cooperative relations between the two parties and the two countries.

The talks proceeded in a friendly atmosphere.
