Sports Contest for Songun Torch Prize Closes

| Pyongyang, July 30 (KCNA) -- The Sports Contest for Songun Torch Prize closed with due ceremony in Hamhung, South Hamgyong Province Tuesday. It was opened to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the victory in the Fatherland Liberation War. At the contest the players of South Hamgyong Province placed first in total standing while those of North Phyongan Province second and those of South Hwanghae Province third. Kim Pyong Sik, vice-minister of Physical Culture and Sports, addressed the ceremony. |
