Chinese Guests, Overseas Koreans Visit Mangyongdae

Pyongyang, July 30 (KCNA) -- Chinese guests and overseas Koreans visited Mangyongdae, the birthplace of President Kim Il Sung. They included families of Chinese anti-Japanese revolutionary martyrs, Chinese related to the anti-Japanese revolutionary struggle, Korean anti-Japanese revolutionary fighters in China, Korean anti-Japanese revolutionary martyrs in China and Koreans related to the anti-Japanese revolutionary struggle in China, bereaved family of DPRK Hero An Tong Su and family of overseas Korean related to revolutionary activities of Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il. Visiting Kim Il Sung's old home in Mangyongdae, they went round historic relics with deep care, being briefed on the story about the glorious revolutionary history of Kim Il Sung and his patriotic and revolutionary family members in Mangyongdae. At the end of the visit the son of Wang Minggui, Chinese related to the anti-Japanese revolutionary struggle, said: Mangyongdae is a significant place where President Kim Il Sung was born. The President waged the arduous struggle against the Japanese imperialists for Korea's liberation. His exploits are widely known as he won a brilliant victory in the Korean war with his outstanding strategy, tactics and commanding art. The Chinese people have highly respected the great President. They also visited the Victorious Fatherland Liberation War Museum, the Revolutionary Martyrs Cemetery on Mt. Taesong and others. |
