Korean People's Struggle Supported by Argentine Political Party
Pyongyang, July 31 (KCNA) -- The Communist Party of Argentina issued a statement on July 20 on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the Korean people's victory in the great Fatherland Liberation War.

The statement said that the struggle of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) and the Korean people for the country's prosperity and its reunification has become an example to be followed by humankind in the struggle for independence, freedom and social progress.

It went on:

We support the WPK and the Korean people in their struggle for building a thriving socialist nation and defending the national sovereignty and dignity.

We send congratulations to the Korean people on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of their victory in the great Fatherland Liberation War fought against the aggression by U.S. imperialism and its allies.

We support the WPK's line on simultaneously pushing forward economic construction and the building of the nuclear force laid down at the March, 2013 Plenary Meeting of its Central Committee.

We vehemently denounce the U.S. hostile policy toward the DPRK.

The statement called on the world progressive parties, organizations and figures to pay deep attention to the issue of Korea's reunification and send support and encouragement to the Korean people in their struggle for achieving the country's independent and peaceful reunification without any foreign interference according to President Kim Il Sung's proposal for founding the Democratic Federal Republic of Koryo.
