The Thailand-DPRK Friendship Association said that July 27 marks the 60th anniversary of the Korean people's victory in the Fatherland Liberation War. It went on:

President Kim Il Sung achieved the country's liberation from the Japanese imperialists who kept Korea under their military occupation in the first half of the last century, defeated the U.S. imperialists who boasted of being "the strongest" in the world in the Korean war and demonstrated the country's sovereignty and dignity before the whole world.

Kim Il Sung victoriously led the fierce confrontation with the U.S. imperialists in the post-war period, too, converting the DPRK into an invincible socialist power.

His great exploits in the war will shine forever in the world history of anti- imperialist struggle.

The Organization for the Study of the Juche Idea of Thailand said that an event baffling human imagination took place in the East 60 years ago. It went on:

The U.S. only sustained a lot of material and manpower losses in the three-year Korean war ignited by it and was compelled to sign the Armistice Agreement little short of an instrument of surrender in the eyes of the world on July 27, 1953.

The brilliant victory of the Korean people in the war was a fruition of the wise leadership of Kim Il Sung, an outstanding strategist and eternal President of the DPRK.

There is no such leader of world stature as Kim Il Sung and he will be unparalleled in the future, too.
