Kim Il Sung Praised in Uruguay, India
Pyongyang, July 31 (KCNA) -- The Uruguayan and Indian newspapers each dedicated one whole page to special write-ups interwoven with photos on the undying revolutionary exploits of President Kim Il Sung to mark the 60th anniversary of the victory in the Fatherland Liberation War.

The Uruguayan paper La Juventud on July 23 carried an article "Peerless commander who worked military miracles in 20th century" which said:

Kim Il Sung was a peerless commander who created unique military strategy, tactics and war methods which no other famous general could conceive and successfully applied them, working miracles in the modern war history.

The U.S. imperialists started the invasion of the DPRK on June 25, 1950 and bombastically said the destiny of Korea would be decided in 72 hours.

However, when the war started, the Korean People's Army repelled the invasion by the enemies with a prompt counterattack and liberated almost all areas of south Korea by ceaseless strikes, baffling the imagination of the world people.

This unprecedented miracle was the precious result of the outstanding strategy, tactics and leadership of the President.

The Indian paper New Delhi Times on July 17 in an article titled "Iron-willed commander" praised the immortal exploits of the peerlessly great man who worked an unprecedented historic miracle by defeating the U.S. imperialists who boasted of being the "strongest" in the world.

The Indian paper Indian and World Event on July 22 in an article "Generalissimo Kim Il Sung" praised him for beating back the two formidable imperialist enemies in one generation. His undying exploits performed in the war will go down in the world history of the anti-imperialist struggle, it added.
