S. Korean Taejon Court Admits Injustice of "Emergency Measure" Taken by Fascist Regime
Pyongyang, July 31 (KCNA) -- The Taejon District Court of south Korea passed a decision of "not guilty" upon Ri Wan Gyu, who was sentenced to a jail term on an unreasonable charge during the military fascist dictatorial regime 38 years ago.

A university student in 1975, he was sentenced to a prison term by the "yusin" regime and served a prison term for the mere reason that he sent a letter condemning the dictator's "emergency measure 9".

After the constitutional court ruled in March this year that such a measure was the one of violating the freedom of the people in all aspects, Ri applied for a new trial, claiming his innocence.

The court declared him not guilty.
