Pyongyang, August 3 (KCNA) -- DPRK book, photo and handicraft exhibitions and film shows took place in Russia, Mexico, Brazil and Indonesia from July 25 to 31 on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the Korean people's victory in the Fatherland Liberation War. Displayed in the exhibitions were photos documenting the immortal exploits of President Kim Il Sung, leader Kim Jong Il and Marshal Kim Jong Un. Also on display were works of the peerlessly great men of Mt. Paektu and books on their greatness, photos introducing the true picture of Songun Korea and handicrafts showing the wisdom and talents of the Korean people. Films shown included "Korea with Time-honored History" and "Arms of Korea". Jesus Antonio Carlos Hernandez, general secretary of the Central Committee of the People's Socialist Party of Mexico, said: Kim Il Sung, a brilliant strategist and invincible and iron-willed commander, beat back the invasion by U.S. imperialism and its allies on July 27, 1953 and won a great victory, teaching the revolutionary people across the world the immutable truth that if all the people struggle in firm unity around the leader, they can defeat any formidable enemy. The DPRK has emerged a world military power under the leadership of Marshal Kim Jong Un, another great Songun commander. Nelson Chaves dos Santos, international secretary of the Party for Free Motherland of Brazil, said Kim Il Sung was an iron-willed brilliant commander who defeated two imperialisms in one generation with his firm revolutionary stand and outstanding strategy and tactics. The future of the Workers' Party and people of Korea is rosy as they are led by Kim Jong Un, identical to the great Generalissimos Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il, he noted. A vice-chancellor of Jakarta University said the DPRK was strong in the 1950s and is stronger now. |
