The secretary of the Maritime Territorial Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation in a speech said the Korean war was the just Fatherland Liberation War of the Korean people against the U.S. imperialists' invasion.

The secretary went on:

The U.S. indiscriminately bombed and bombarded many cities and villages in Korea during the three-year war, reducing them to debris.

It turned south Korea into the biggest nuclear arsenal in the Far East and has staged ceaseless nuclear war drills targeting the DPRK.

The DPRK has made sincere efforts to achieve durable peace on the Korean Peninsula and national reunification since its foundation.

It demands the conclusion of a peace treaty with the U.S. and the withdrawal of the U.S. forces from south Korea.

This is a just demand for ensuring peace on the peninsula and achieving reunification.

The participants in the meeting denounced the U.S. imperialists for bringing the dark clouds of a nuclear war to hang over the Korean Peninsula.
