Candlelight Rally Held in S. Korea

| Pyongyang, August 4 (KCNA) -- A candlelight rally took place in Seoul on Saturday demanding the extension of the period of the state investigation into the case of the Intelligence Service's (IS) illegal interference in the election, according to the south Korean KBS. Present there were members of the Emergency Situation Council to Denounce the IS's Interference in Presidential Election, figures of opposition parties and people from all walks of life, more than 15 000 in all. They deplored that state investigation to probe the truth about the case is on the verge of bankruptcy due to the obstructions of the "Saenuri Party." The political camp should not disregard the people's demand, they held, calling for extending the period of the investigation to disclose IS's criminal acts. |
