Present there were Jong Yong Won, vice-chairman of the C.C., the youth league, Chae Il Ryong, vice-chairman of the Kangwon Provincial People's Committee, officials concerned and campers' groups of the DPRK, China, Russia, Mongolia, Vietnam and France.

Participants laid floral baskets and bouquets before the statue of Generalissimo Kim Il Sung at the camp before paying tribute to him.

The flag of camping was hoisted.

The ceremony started with "Song of International Friendship Camping". A congratulatory address, a report and speeches were made there.

Then followed a march-past of the campers.

During the camping the campers will train their bodies and minds and deepen friendship while spending pleasant days through various activities like marine sports and amusement games and celebration of national days of those countries.
