Pyongyang, August 6 (KCNA) -- The United States is busy additionally deploying radars and missile defence means in different countries of the world including Japan, Guam Island, Jordan, Turkey and United Arab Emirates under the pretext of "coping with missile threat" from someone. The U.S. additionally set up a high performance radar for tracking ballistic missiles in Japan, asserting that "it would intercept ballistic missiles to be launched by north Korea." It introduced six Patriot interceptor missiles in Turkey and started their operation. In June, it officially announced that it would keep as they are the Patriot interceptor missiles already deployed in Jordan. Minju Joson Tuesday says in a commentary in this regard: This goes to clearly prove that the U.S. is making desperate efforts to cover the world with its missile shields and attain an unchallenged edge in the field of strategic offensive weapons. Slamming the U.S. for insisting on the deployment of missile shields not yet rounded off in different countries and regions of the world, the commentary notes: By making much fuss about the imminent "attack of ballistic missiles" from someone, the U.S. seeks to provide a pretext and conditions for deploying the MD in its "allies" of different regions of the world and cover the funds for operating the MD through the financial contributions from those "allies." Its final goal is to plug potential rivals into an arms race in a bid to control the growth of defence capabilities of those countries and certainly realize its scenario for dominating the world on the basis of a military edge. The U.S. would be well advised to stop at once its foolish action to put the world under its control. |
