Equatorial Guinean President Refers to Equatorial Guinea-DPRK Friendly Relations

Pyongyang, August 7 (KCNA) -- Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, president of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea, met and had a talk with the DPRK party and government delegation headed by Kim Ki Nam, member of the Political Bureau and secretary of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, which paid a courtesy call on him at the Presidential Palace on Monday. The president said Equatorial Guinea and the DPRK has long-standing friendly relations. He stressed that he can never forget the day when he had the honor of having an audience of President Kim Il Sung during his visit to the DPRK in the past. He noted the Korean people are dynamically advancing under the wise leadership of HE Kim Jong Un despite any pressure and sanctions. It is a great honor not only of me but of the Equatorial Guinean people that I have received the International Kim Jong Il Prize, he added. |
